Hi, How are you, Folks? Today, we have made Lemon Pickle today. The Tangy, Juicy Lemons in the presence of Salt is just awesome. It makes a good and Healthy combination to give additional flavor to your Culinary Delights.

Lemon Pickle:
Ingredients:
For Fermentation:
- Lemons: 750 g,
- Rock Salt: 1 Cup,
For Masala:
- Red Chilli Powder: 3 Tbsp.,
- Fenugreek Seeds (Methi): 1 & 1/2 Tbsp.,
- Cumin Seeds: 1 & 1/2 Tbsp.,
- Mustard Seeds: 1 & 1/2 Tbsp.,
For Tempering:
- Gingelly Oil: 150 g,
- Mustard Seeds: 1 Tsp.,
- Cumin Seeds: 1 Tsp.,
Instructions:
For Lemon Brine:
- Take Lemons in a Bowl, Wash and Clean it well,
- Cut the Lemons into 4 pieces each,
- Put the Lemons and Salt in Layers, One after another in a China Clay Pot or Glass Bottle or Plastic Jar,
- Shake the Contents well till the Salt mixes well with the Cut Lemons,
- Keep it for 3 Days under the sun and shadow simultaneously for 12 hours each,
For Masala:
- Dry Fry Fenugreek, Cumin and Mustard Seeds each,
- Grind all of the above seeds into fine Powder,
- The Grounded Masala Powder is ready.
For Tempering:
- Heat Gingelly Oil in a Pan,
- Add Mustard Seeds and Cumin Seeds to it and deep fry it.
- You can also add Curry Leaves to it (Optional),
- Cool it for 5 Mins till it is a little cool,
For Pickle:
- Add the Red Chilli Powder into the Lemon Brine and keep it aside,
- Add the Grounded Masala with the Lemon Brine and Mix it well,
The Fresh Traditional Home-Made Methi Lemon Pickle is ready
