Hi, How are you, Folks? A New Day, A New Recipe... Today, We have prepared something different than the recipes before, A non-vegetarian recipe, "Butter Chicken". An awesome recipe, typically Indian in Origin.
On relative Occasions, People make this Gravy to eat with Roti, Naan, Chappathi or Boiled Rice in India. Non-Vegetarians have a special place for this Gravy with the Juicy pieces of Chicken in it. Especially, In Northern parts of India, People serve it to the Visitors showing their love for them.
This Awesome Dish is very easy to make in our Home with affordable price and affordable items available near your house. So, try this at your home and give your feedbacks...

Home Made Butter Chicken:
Ingredients:
For Gravy Masala:
Tomatoes:300g,
Onion (Medium Sized): 2No./150g,
Bay Leaf: 1 No.,
Cinnamon Stick: 2 Inch - 1,
Cashew Nuts: 15 - 20 No.
Moti Ilaichi (Black Cardamom): 1 No.
Green Cardamom: 5 - 6 No.
Ginger Paste: 1 Tbsp.
Garlic Paste: 1 Tbsp.
Unsalted Butter: 2 Tbsp.
Kashmiri Chilli Powder: 1 Tbsp.
For Chicken Tikka:
Boneless Chicken: 500g,
Oil: 1 Tbsp.
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder: 1 Tbsp.
Ginger Paste: 1 Tbsp.
Garlic Paste: 1 Tbsp.
Hung Curd: 2 Tbsp.
Salt: To Taste,
Lemon Juice: 2 Tsp.
For Butter Chicken Gravy:
Butter: 2 Tbsp.
Ginger Paste: 1 Tsp.
Garlic Paste: 1 Tsp.
Green Chillis (Chopped): 3 No.
Honey: 2 Tsp.
Kasuri Methi: 2 Tsp.
Instructions:
For Gravy Masala:
- Keep a Pan on the Stove/Burner,
- Pour Water as Required into the Pan,
- Add Tomatoes, Onion, Bay Leaf, Cinnamon Stick, Cashew Nuts, Moti Ilaichi, Green Cardamom, Butter one after another,
- Add Kashmiri Chilli Powder (for color and spicy taste) and mix it well and let it boil for 10 - 15 minutes,
- After boiling, let it cool,
- Transfer the contents to a mixie jar and grind it finely,
- Then strain the masala and get the fine watery Masala,
- Throw the slug from straining it,
- Keep the liquid Masala for making Gravy.
For Chicken Tikka:
- Pour Oil in a Bowl,
- Add Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Ginger Garlic Pastes, Hung Curd, Salt, Lemon Juice and Mix it well till it blends into a paste,
- Add the Washed and Cleaned Boneless Chicken into it and Mix it well,
- Keep it aside and let it Marinate for 15 minutes.
- After 15 Minutes, Keep a Pan on the Stove/Burner,
- Pre-Heat the Pan, then pour Oil in it,
- Now, Add the Marinated Chicken in it and Pan fry them all,
- Keep the Fried Chicken Tikka in a Bowl and Keep it aside,
For Butter Chicken Gravy:
- Pre-Heat the Pan,
- Then add Butter and let it Melt,
- Add Ginger Garlic Paste, Green Chillis (Chopped),
- Add the Gravy Masala (mentioned above) for binding the Butter Chicken,
- Let it Cook for 15 Mins (Typo error in Video... It says "After 5 Mins of Cooking"),
- Add Salt to taste, Honey (You may also use Sugar: 2 Tsp.), Kasuri Methi (Rubbed),
- Finally, Add Chicken Tikka (Mentioned Above) and Mix it well,
- Plate the Butter Chicken with Roti, Chappathi, Naan or Boiled Rice.
The Tasty, Delicious, Finger-Licking, Mind-Boggling, Fabulous Butter Chicken is Ready to Serve.
